Volume Measures
The set of eight copper standard volume measures at the left at Kenyon College range from two liters to one centileter.

These measures are unmarked, but many apparatus manufacturers sold them. For example, an identical set in tinned iron sold for $2.00 in the 1912 catalogue of the
C. H. Stoelting Co. of Chicago.

Below are standard measures at the University of Vermont made by E & T. Fairbanks & Co. of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The largest measure is a half bushel; the smaller volumes are one peck, a half peck and one quart.
