Inductors
This fixed inductor was made by Hartmann & Braun of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and is in the collection of the physics department at the University of Texas in Austin.

This Brooks Inductometer cost Wilmington College $150 when it was bought from Leeds and Northrup of Philadelphia in 1920-21,

The device could be used as either a self or mutal inductance. For a fuller description of a similar piece of apparatus at Kenyon College, click here.
