| This is not in any Page catalogue, but it
is clearly of Page design, with its brass ball feet, turnings and strongly-grained
wood base. It may very well have been made by the successor company, Palmer
and Hall.
The mechanical and electrical design are pure Davis, with the bell to show that rotation was taking place as the iron bar was alternately attracted to the vertical electromagnet and then released. The instrument is in the collection of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. |
