J. Terrence KlopcicDirector of Laboratories for Physics and MathematicsPh.D. -- Notre Dame, 1970 After completing his thesis on neutron
polarization
in a student-maintained 4 MeV accelerator experiment, “Mr. K” served at
the
US Army Research Laboratory for 31 years, ending as the senior
scientist
for systems analysis. Included in his assignments was a year on
the
faculty at West Point where he taught Physics and Mechanical
Engineering.
Terry and Val have five grown children and an expanding number of
grandchildren.
In addition to volunteer work, the Klopcics’ favorite pastimes are
ensemble
singing and home improvement projects.
